Your personal journal for life ❤️
What is Minute?
Minute is a personal online journal built for the web, intentionally crafted to make journaling a delight.
Who is behind this?
That'd be me, Alex Shye. I use Minute every day, and hack on it whenever I have the time.
How does the privacy work?
All data in Minute is 100% private and you control it. We'll never share your data with third parties without your consent.
I promise to do my best to keep your data safe. Your account is secured with Google authentication. Your data is encrypted within our database as well as during transmission. The product is designed so that your data is private and only accessible by you.
That said, nothing in this world is 100% safe. If you have data that is truly sensitive in nature, I'd suggest not writing it down anywhere.
You can find more details in the privacy policy.
How much does Minute cost?
$5 a month, billed anually.
Why should I pay for this?
Minute is 100% supported by users. Your subscription helps cover the costs needed to maintain and improve the service over time.
Being user-supported means Minute stays completely private and sustainable for the long-term. It does not rely on future investment. We'll never sell your data to third parties. And you'll never see advertisements pop up in your private journal.
Is there a free trial?
Yes, once you join, you'll begin a 30-day free trial with all features enabled.
Do you have an iOS or Android app available?
No. My current focus is on creating a great web experience that works across desktop and mobile browsers. That way, you'll have access across all of your devices.
Native mobile apps are not on the immediate roadmap.
How can I get in touch?
